By eliminating the 1/8 inch markings and the Turn a Round feature, literally over half of the markings are removed. The remaining 1/4 inch; 1/2 inch and 1 inch markings are printed with a whole inch grid. That’s right – without the Turn a Round feature, a 6 x 12 inch ruler truly measures 6 x 12 inches – not 6-1/2 x 12-1/2 inches.
